This paper proposes Image fusion based on the Fourier and wavelet
transform methods retain rich multispectral details but less spatial
details from source images. Wavelets perform well only at linear
features but not at non linear discontinuities because they do not use
the geometric properties of structures. Curvelet transforms overcome
such difficulties in feature representation. Matlab program is designed
as given below,
1) Using MS and Pan Image
2) Injection method ( inject Pan image in to MS image )for better high resolution and informative image
3) Previous algorithm(Wavelet) and proposed algorithm(Curvelet)
4) Comparison for different parameters like: SNR, Image quality index, RMSE,PSNR, Spectral Quality Evaluation.
